The Mstsc Help and Support topic incorrectly states that you can use the /console switch to connect to the console session (session 0) of a specified Microsoft Windows 2000 Server-based computer. Note Mstsc.exe is the Remote Desktop Connection tool which was the Terminal Services client in earlier versions of Windows. MORE INFORMATION
You cannot use the /console switch to connect to the console session of a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Server. However, you can use the /console switch to connect to the console session of a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
