Visual Interdev Creates New Websites in Low Security ContextOn a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer, if you create a subweb by using Microsoft Visual InterDev 6.0, it is automatically created as an application. The default setting is to run that application in-process. After you upgrade to SP-1, the new default setting for SP-1 and the FrontPage Server Extensions update is to run the application out-of-process. This improves security.
Registry Setting Added to Retain Local Accounts if Site Is UnprovisionedIf a site is unprovisioned, all local accounts created by that site are retained if the string value, NoDeleteAccounts, is set to 1 in the following registry subkey
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\All Portsor individually under this subkey
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Web Server Extensions\Ports\Port /LM/W3SVC/xx:where xx is the instance number for the virtual site.
