SYMPTOMS

If you use Microsoft Windows Explorer to try to delete a non-delivery report (NDR) from drive M, you may receive the following error message:
Can't find the item

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the NDR responses have the message class REPORT.IPM; the Exwin32 interface does not support the REPORT.IPM message class and therefore cannot delete these messages.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 3.
