When you install Microsoft Office XP Developer after you install the .NET Framework software developer's kit (SDK), Visual Studio .NET, or any edition of the MSDN Library designed for Visual Studio .NET, the Office Developer Help documentation is not available.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because Microsoft Office XP Developer uses an earlier version of the HTML help control. Therefore, if you install Microsoft Office XP Developer after you install the .NET Framework SDK or any of the other programs mentioned in the "Symptoms" section of this article, you overwrite the more recent version of Office Developer Help documentation that was installed with those programs.
