Symptoms
When you use the Replication feature in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or SQL Server 2014, the Log Reader Agent may fail intermittently. Additionally, you receive one of the following error messages in the SQL Server error log:

Cause
This issue occurs when the same article is published in more than one transactional publication, or same article is part of CDC and transactional publication.
Resolution
Cumulative update information
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server:
Each new cumulative update for SQL Server contains all the hotfixes and all the security fixes that were included with the previous cumulative update. We recommend that you download and install the latest cumulative updates for SQL Server:
