You cannot use the mouse as a flight yoke in Flight Simulator 2002 or in Flight Simulator 2004 - A A Century of Flight

SYMPTOMS

When you try to use the mouse as a flight yoke when you play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002 or in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 - A A Century of Flight, you cannot do so. The aircraft does not respond to mouse movements during the game.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the mouse is not supported as a flight yoke in the versions of Flight Simulator that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use keyboard commands to fly the aircraft, or install a supported game controller.

Earlier versions of Flight Simulator supported the use of a mouse as the flight yoke during the game. In Flight Simulator, you can use a game controller or keyboard commands to control the flight of the aircraft.
