OL2002: MAPI Program Error When You Forward Messages

SYMPTOMS

If you use Extended Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI) and a custom form view to view a message and you try to forward the message, you may receive the following error message:
The messaging interface has returned an unknown error. If the problem persists restart Outlook.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English-language version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later:
