Description of the Microsoft Windows Registry
When you attempt to install Microsoft IntelliPoint version
4.0, you may experience one of the following behaviors:
You are cannot remove the Logitech MouseWare program, and
you receive the following error message:
NT5 not
supported.
You attempt to remove the Logitech MouseWare program before
you install IntelliPoint. However, when you restart the computer, you receive a
message that states that Lmouse.vxd cannot be loaded.
When you attempt to install IntelliPoint 4.0 on a Windows
NT 4.0-based computer, you receive the following error message:
To resolve this issue, manually remove Logitech MouseWare,
and then install IntelliPoint. To do this, follow these
steps.
