following error messages: Windows upgrade cannot
continue because it could not load a file D:\i386\win9xupg\w95upg.dll A device attached to this system is not working properly

Upgrade functionality is disabled and your
copy of Windows only allows upgrades CAUSE This behavior can occur if the Roxio Easy CD Creator
program is installed on your computer. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, remove Easy CD Creator before you
run Windows XP Setup, or quit all running programs except for Windows Explorer
and Systray, and then run Windows XP Setup again. To do this, follow these
steps:
