If you start any of the accessibility functions by using the shortcut key, the logoff process may take longer than usual.
CAUSE
Starting any of the accessibility functions by using the shortcut key
causes a handle leak to the Current User (HKEY_CURRENT_USER) registry hive. The leaked handle causes longer logoff times because Windows is forced to delay closing the registry hive.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the
