Manual steps to delete the fax queue folder and restart the Fax service
To work around this issue, delete the
Queue folder at this location:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\MSFax\Queue
After you delete the Queue folder, restart the Fax
service.
Notes:
| • | Deleting the Queue folder also deletes any unsent fax
jobs. |
| • | Some folders in the path to the Queue folder are hidden. If
you cannot view these folders, follow these steps:
| 1. | On the Tools menu in My Computer or Windows Explorer, click Folder Options. | | 2. | Click the View tab. | | 3. | Under Hidden files and folders, click
Show hidden files and folders. | | 4. | Click OK. |
