Microsoft only supports setup and installation for the Crystal Reports products that are included in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003, in Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, and in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. All other support is provided by the vendor who developed Crystal Reports, not by Microsoft.
Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET is fully integrated in the following versions:
Within Visual Studio 2008, Crystal Reports is known as "Crystal Reports Basic for Visual Studio 2008" and is included in the Professional Edition and higher.
Technical SupportMicrosoft does not provide support for the Crystal Reports products that are included in Visual Studio because Crystal Reports are SAP products. Support is only available from the SAP-provided free forum.

Downloading the Crystal Reports that are compatible with Visual Studio 2010Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 no longer includes Crystal Reports in the bundle.
In Visual Studio 2010, to create a Crystal Reports project or Web site or to import existing projects or Web sites that were created by using older versions of Visual Studio or Crystal Reports, you must first install a version of Crystal Reports that is compatible with Visual Studio 2010.
