This error message occurs when you try to set the Orientation property of a field that contains more than 8,000 unique values.

NOTE: In Excel 2002, before you install Microsoft Office XP Service Pack (SP-2), the error message may occur when a field contains more than 32,500 unique values.

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base: The English version of this fix should have the following file attributes or later:
