Redirector Does Not Cache Files When the SPARSE Attribute Is Set
Article ID: 318789 - View products that this article applies to.
This article was previously published under Q318789
When the SPARSE attribute is set on a file, the redirector does not allow for read caching of the file. The redirector would automatically set a file with the SPARSE attribute to No-Caching.
This problem may occur by not allowing the flags that are associated with a SPARSE file to hold FCB_STATE_READCACHEING_ENABLED.
