FIX: ASP.NET Does Not Pick Up the REMOTE_PORT Server Variable from IIS

The set of server variables that ASP.NET picks up from Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) version 5.x or later does not include the REMOTE_PORT server variable.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft .NET Framework Service Pack 2 (SP2).
