After you upgrade your computer to Windows 2000 Professional, your PCTEL HSP56 MicroModem may not function correctly. For example, Windows may not detect the modem, and it may not be listed in Device Manager.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if the modem driver is incompatible with Windows 2000. The PCTEL HSP56 MicroModem requires an updated driver to work with Windows 2000.
RESOLUTION
