administer a Microsoft FrontPage Web, you receive the following error message:
The server administration program and the server
extensions on the Web server are not compatible. The server is too old to use
with this administration program. CAUSE The FrontPage Server Extensions 2002 use HTML-based
administration tools. The version of MMC that you are using cannot administer a
Web that uses the FrontPage Server Extensions 2002. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods.
Method 1: Use Microsoft SharePoint Administrator to Administer the WebNOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.To start Microsoft SharePoint Administrator, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Microsoft SharePoint Administrator. If Administrative Tools is not included on the list of programs, follow these steps:
Method 2: Create a New MMC FileTo create a new MMC file to administer the Web, follow these steps:
