When you connect to an ISP by using the SLIP protocol and the Client for Microsoft Networks or File and Printer Sharing is turned off for the SLIP connection, the redirector may still announce those services over the dial-up connection.
CAUSE
This problem may occur when the SLIP client does not recognize that these services are disabled.
