To change to an alternate cursor, edit the zoo.ini file. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Locate the following file:
    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Zoo Tycon\Zoo.ini.
    This file opens in Notepad.
  2. Under the heading [UI], locate the text that reads as follows:
    useAlternateCursors=1
    						
  3. Change the '1' to a '0', so that the text reads as follows:
    useAlternateCursors=0
    					
    Note After you change the cursor, if the cursor appears to flicker or disappears, change the '0' back to a '1'.
