Article ID: 320530 - Last Review: October 6, 2005 - Revision: 2.2 Cannot Enumerate Shared Property Groups
This article was previously published under Q320530 On This PageSYMPTOMS
In a COM+ component on Windows 2000, an enumeration of shared property groups returns the correct number of VARIANTs. However, all of the VARIANTs except for the first are empty (vt = VT_EMPTY). The first VARIANT contains the last property group, which overwrites all of the previous VARIANTs.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the VARIANT array index is not incremented during the internal enumeration process in the COM+ Shared Property Manager module.
