Article ID: 320670 - Last Review: February 19, 2007 - Revision: 2.11 Event ID 528 May Not Be Logged If LsaLogonUser() Is Called
This article was previously published under Q320670 On This PageSYMPTOMS Windows 2000 may not log security event ID 528 when a user
logs on successfully if the user is authenticated by using the LsaLogonUser function. If the CrashOnAuditFail option is set, the computers stops with code 0xC0000244.
CAUSE When LsaLogonUser is called, a SourceContext parameter is passed. This is a TOKEN_SOURCE structure that identifies the source component. The SourceName member of this structure specifies an 8-byte character string
that identifies the source of the access token. The symptoms that are described
