SYMPTOMS

If the following conditions exist, extra lines may appear around hyperlinks when you print your document:

You edited the document by using the Track Changes feature in Word 2000.
You pasted hyperlinks into your document.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, accept the changes before you print:

Open the document in Word 2000.
On the Tools menu, point to Track Changes and then click Accept or Reject Changes.
In the Accept or Reject Changes dialog box, click Accept All, and then click Yes.
Click Close.
Print the document.
