Spoolsv.exe may cause an access violation (crash) under heavy stress when you are printing to files. The problem is most likely to occur on multiprocessor computers when you are using a local port with a path to the output file.
Under severe stress, Localspl.dll may delete the memory structure that defines a printer port while the port is still in use.
