SYMPTOMS

When you work in a diagram that contains Asian characters, and you are running Microsoft Windows XP, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:

Some characters are printed as "=" when you print from the Japanese version of Visio 2002 to Acrobat Distiller.
Hong Kong Simplified Complex Script support is not available in Visio 2002.
When you use the ClearType text display setting in Visio 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1), the text appears distorted.

Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help to prevent any unauthorized changes to the file. NOTE: After you apply this update, you must restart your computer.
