When you use Data Transformation Services (DTS) to transfer data from a table that is based on Microsoft SQL Server to Microsoft Excel, DTS reports a successful execution of a package, but the data is not transferred.
This problem may occur when you use DTS to transfer over 4 million cells to Excel. This problem is caused by a coding error in Excel Indexed Sequential Access Method (ISAM).
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest Microsoft Jet 4.0 service pack that contains an updated version of the Microsoft Excel ISAM driver (msexcl40.dll).
