SUMMARY

The network driver interface specification (NDIS) intermediate drivers ported to Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 98 Special Edition, and Windows Millennium Edition that are based on the Microsoft Windows 2000/Windows XP Driver Development kit (DDK) PASSTHRU sample will not bind to the dial-up adapter (NDISWAN) miniport.

Also, the NDIS intermediate drivers for Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 that are based on the IMSamp.exe driver sample will not bind to the dial-up adapter miniport.

You can port the PASSTHRU sample of the Windows XP DDK to Windows 98 or Windows ME, if binding to the dial-up adapter is not required.
