You cannot join a conference and you receive a "CTP Join Request Failed...Error #80041012" error message

When you try to join an online Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server conference, you may receive the following error message on the Web page:
This error message is also logged in the Conference Management Service (CMS) audit logs. The audit logs are comma-delimited text files. By default, the audit logs are created in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Exchange Conferencing Server\server_name.ecs folder. Because this folder is shared, you can also use the UNC path \\server_name\server_name.ecs to gain access to the log files. The following entry may be logged in the audit log:
CTP Join Request Failed
The Conference Management Service denied your request because the conference technology provider did not allow the conference join.
Please try the following:
Contact your system administrator.

This problem may occur if a user modifies the start and end times of an existing meeting to be 24 hours in the future. If this occurs, no one can join the meeting. The CMS does not handle updated meetings correctly.
When the CMS starts, it loads all of the meetings in the next 24 hours. This is the current refresh period. If a meeting is created in the current 24-hour refresh period, the CMS detects the new meeting and adds it to the running map. However, if a user modifies the meeting so that the start and end times are in the next refresh period, the meeting is not removed from the running map of meetings.
Because the CMS does not remove the meeting, if you try to join the meeting, the error message that is described in the "Symptoms" section of this article is displayed.
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 3 or later. To obtain a particular service pack for Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server, contact Microsoft Product Support Services. Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 3.
This fix updates the CMS to handle this situation and to correctly manage the updated meeting.
