SUMMARY

The Percentage of free memory to use for caching option in the Advanced section of the Cache Configuration properties page may be misleadingly named. A better term to describe the actual behavior is "Percentage of physical memory to use for caching".

MORE INFORMATION

The memory is allocated during startup of the Web proxy service. Changes to this setting only take effect when the Web proxy service is restarted.
