SUMMARY

This article shows you where to find the Readme files that are included with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server.

Readme files are supplemental files that contain important information about how to install and configure Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server. The Readme files are located on the Microsoft Project CD-ROM and Microsoft Project Server CD-ROM. The Readme files are also located on the hard disk where Microsoft Project is installed.

To view a list of the Readme files, follow these steps:
  1. Start Microsoft Project.
  2. On the Help menu, click Contents and Index.
  3. Click the Answer Wizard tab. Under What would you like to do?, type readme, and then press ENTER.

    A list of the Readme files that are included with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Server, a description of the files, and their location are displayed in the Microsoft Project Help window.
