Access violation when you type mnemonic on property page with ActiveX control

SYMPTOMS

When you type the mnemonic of a control on a property page when an ActiveX control also exists on that property page, a Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) application may generate an access violation.

In a debug build, you receive a debug assertion with following information:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Visual Studio .NET 2002 Service Pack 1.
