After you type your password in the Automatic Logon Information page of the Small Business Server (SBS) 2000 Setup Wizard, Setup and the wizard may stop, and you may receive the following error message:
A fatal setup error has occurred. Look at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Integration\Microsoft Small Business Server 2000\Logs\eventlog.txt for more information.
Canceling Setup
The file Eventlog.txt may contain the following entry at the very end of the file:
[<date>,<time>] Setup.exe: GetGlobalCustomProperty({5DFE21F0-BBA9-11D2-BCF8-00C04F797FB8}) [<date>,<time>] setup.exe: ***ERRORLOG EVENT*** : Run() : RunLoadSetup(), an exception has occurred. [<date>,<time>] Setup.exe: IsRunningUnattended

This problem may occur if you leave the password blank or type an incorrect password for the automatically logon password on the Automatic Logon Information page.

To work around this problem, start the SBS Setup Wizard again, and then type the correct password for the automatic logon or choose to manually log on after Setup completes.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
