Symptoms

When you accept a meeting request that you received earlier in Microsoft Outlook 2002, the meeting may not appear in the calendar of your Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox.

Cause

This problem may occur if the following conditions are true in the order that they are presented:
  • You have your personal folders (.pst) file set as your default e-mail delivery point.
  • You receive a meeting request, but you do not respond to it.
  • You change your default e-mail delivery point to your Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox.
  • You accept the meeting request that you received before you changed your default e-mail delivery point to your Exchange Server mailbox.

    Note When you accept the meeting request, the meeting appears in your .pst calendar.

Resolution

Service Pack Information
