Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes the following Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) fixes:
  • Microsoft Jet 4.0 Update
    This update fixes the following bugs in the Microsoft Jet 4.0 database engine:
    • Buffer Overrun Vulnerability Could Compromise Windows Security
    • Memory Leak in TableIDs with Parameterized Query That is Called by Jet OLE Database (OLEDB) Provider
    • Open Data Base Connectivity (ODBC) Error When Deleting Rows in the Linked Tables from Microsoft Access to SQL Server
    • Error Occurs When Applying Multiple Filters to a Table in Datasheet View
  • Update to Msjet40.dll
    This update installs version 4.0.6218.00 of the Msjet40.dll file.
