We will talk about why it is robust and will also provide some suggestions about when and how to use it. We will explain the enhancement and the challenges you may encounter when you deploy Log Shipping on the Enterprise Edition and how that affects the choice for the Recovery model. We will discuss conflicting operations and non-recoverable operations, as well as fast failback and snapshot backups. Reinaldo Kibel joined Microsoft Corporation as a SQL Server support professional in January 1999. He has worked on incoming SQL Server support calls and has achieved one of the highest number of cases handled per engineer in that group. He developed content and training for SQL Server 6.5 and 7.0 for delivery to internal support professionals and was involved in developing content for SQL Server 2000. Reinaldo currently works in the Database Management group. He received his Master's degree in Computer Science from University of Texas at Dallas in 1997. He has designed and developed computer software applications and hardware since he started working on his Electronic Engineer degree in 1984.
