"Invalid Procedure Call" Error Message or Access Violation When You Try to Assign User-Defined Type to Variant

multithreaded environment (for example, in Microsoft COM+ or in Microsoft
Internet Information Server [IIS]), you may receive an "Invalid Procedure Call"
error message or an access violation (0xC0000005) in MSVBVM60.dll.
RESOLUTIONA supported fix is
now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem
that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are
experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing.
Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft
recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 service pack
