After you add new disks to a hardware RAID array to extend storage space that contains a dynamic disk, new storage space that you added to the array may not be available at the end of the dynamic disk. Or, the Disk Management tool may not start. When you try to start Disk Management, you may receive any of the following error messages:
Logical disk manager The remote procedure call failed. Windows - System Error Unknown hard Error The system process C:\Winnt\System32\Services.exe terminated unexpectedly. Error code 128.
