SYMPTOMS

This article lists the article numbers for the Microsoft .NET Framework bugs that are fixed in Post-Service Pack 2 .NET Framework EnterpriseServices Hotfix Package.

These fixes were previously released as individual hotfixes for computers that have the .NET Framework SP1 installed.

If you install the individual hotfixes on a computer that has the .NET Framework SP2 installed, you receive the following error message:

Could not install Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Hot Fix Qxxxxxx

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next .NET Framework Service Pack that contains this hotfix.
