When you use the Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2)
version of Outlook 2002, your mail may stick in the Outbox if all of the
following conditions are true:
| • | The "Save replies with originals" option is turned
on. |
| • | The "Send immediately when connected" option is turned
off. |
| • | You are using an Outlook profile that is configured for
both an Exchange Server account and another account, such as a Post Office
Protocol 3 (POP3) account. |

To work around this issue, use both of the following
methods.

Turn Off the "Save Replies with Original Message" Option
| 1. | Click Tools, and then click Options. |
| 2. | On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options. |
| 3. | If the In folders other than the Inbox, save
replies with original message check box is selected, click to clear
this check box. |
| 4. | Click OK three times to close all open dialog box windows. |

Turn On the "Send Immediately When Connected" Option
| 1. | Click Tools, and then click Options. |
| 2. | Click the Mail Setup tab. |
| 3. | If the Send immediately when connected
check box is cleared, click to select this check box, and then click OK. |
Make sure that your profile is configured for
only the Microsoft Exchange Server service.
