Multiple Separator Pages Printed from Windows 2000 Terminal Services Redirected PrinterArticle ID: 328716 - View products that this article applies to. This article was previously published under Q328716 On This PageSYMPTOMS
When a client connects to a Windows 2000-based server with Terminal Services, a redirected local printer is created and a zero-byte print job is sent to the printer. If the redirected printer is configured to use a separator page, multiple separator pages are printed when a user prints to that printer. The number of separator pages depends on the number of times that the user has logged on to the Terminal Services server. This problem occurs only with some printer drivers. The problem is known to occur with the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 printer. RESOLUTIONService Pack InformationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows 2000.
