Either of the following events may be recorded in the Application event log:

Event ID: 2019
Source: EvntAgnt
Event Message: SNMP Event Log Extension Agent did not initialize correctly

Event ID: 2020
Source: EvntAgnt
Event Message: SNMP Event Log Extension Agent has terminated.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.
