Because there is more than one version of the MUI Pack for Office XP available for download, you may have to determine which version of the MUI Pack is installed on your computer or on the computers in your organization.

Use one of the following methods to determine which version of the MUI Pack is installed on your computer.

Method 1: How to Use the Internet to Determine If the MUI Pack Is Installed

If you have Internet access, follow these steps to determine if the MUI Pack is installed on your computer:
1.Visit the following Microsoft Product Updates Web site:
http://office.microsoft.com/productupdates (http://office.microsoft.com/productupdates)
2.Under the text, Check for Office Updates, click Go.

After detection is complete, you receive a list of recommended updates for your approval.
3.Click Show Installed Updates.
The Product Updates Web site reports which updates are installed. If the Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP-1) MUI Pack or if the Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2) MUI Pack is installed, the update is listed on the Products Update page and the update is marked Already Installed.

Method 2: How to Determine If the MUI Pack Is Installed If You Do Not Have Internet Access

If you do not have Internet access to determine if the MUI Pack is installed on your computer, use the Office Update Inventory Tool. For additional information about how to download and use the Office Update Inventory Tool, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402491033.aspx (http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ork2003/HA011402491033.aspx)
NOTE: You must locate a computer that has Internet access to download the Office Update Inventory Tool. After you download the Office Update Inventory Tool from a computer that has Internet access, copy the Office Update Inventory Tool, and then install the tool on the computer that you are trying to determine if the MUI Pack is installed.
