Article ID: 331483 - Last Review: July 28, 2006 - Revision: 3.2 OL2002: You Cannot Use the Quick Key Search in a Large Shared Inbox Folder
This article was previously published under Q331483 On This PageSYMPTOMSIf you view the Inbox, and then click any letter on the
keyboard while you are using Outlook 2002, Outlook 2002 is supposed to quickly
sort to items that start with the previously clicked letter. This function is
known as a quick key search and should work for any column that is selected in
the current view. You may notice that this functionality does not work as
expected when you view the contents of a large shared Inbox that belongs to
another user if the shared mailbox is on a different Microsoft
Exchange. RESOLUTIONService Pack InformationThis problem is corrected in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3.307841
