FIX: Memory is not released when you close forms and reports in Access 2002
Article ID: 331989 - View products that this article applies to.
This article was previously published under Q331989
When you close forms and reports in Microsoft Access Project, the memory may not be released, resulting in a memory leak. When the memory leak is large enough, the performance level may drop significantly, and your computer may stop responding (hang).
This problem occurs if Access does not release the memory that is used by forms and reports when these objects are closed.
