When you use the Brasilia time zone in the year 2019, recurring meetings and appointments are displayed in the wrong time slot for the year 2020. This update is relevant to Outlook that's set in the Brasilia time zone or to meetings and appointments that are set in that time zone.

This update enables Outlook to override certain time zone settings that are used by Outlook. In order to override a time zone, you must set a registry key for the current user. The registry key name must match the internal name of the time zone. The value indicates the year of the time zone rule that is to be used instead of the effective year.

For example, the following TimeZoneOverride registry key setting uses the Brasilia time zone rule for the year 2020 (0x7e4 in hexadecimal) as the effective rule:

• Location: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\TimeZoneOverride

• Name: E. South America Standard Time

• Value type: DWORD

• Value data: 000007e4

1. Go to Start, enter View Installed Updates in the Search Windows box, and then press Enter.

2. In the list of updates, locate and select KB4484172, and then select Uninstall.

1. Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then select Search. If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, and then select Search.

2. Enter windows update, select Windows Update, and then select Installed Updates.

3. In the list of updates, locate and select KB4484172, and then select Uninstall.
