The Automatically restart option is grayed out in Windows XP

RESOLUTIONIf you are unable to select the "Automatically restart" option in My Computer, Properties, Advanced, "Startup and Recovery" window, you can perform the following solution alternatively: Go to Windows registry. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\ Click CrashControl. In the right pane right-click "AutoReboot".
