Text may appear in reverse order in Internet Explorer

SUMMARY

When you type any text in the text areas of Internet Explorer such as Search area, Username etc., the text may flow from right to left instead of left to right.

CAUSE

This is not a bug in Internet Explorer and happens if the left arrow key is pressed while holding the Ctrl key.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, hold the Ctrl key again and press the right arrow key.

MORE INFORMATION

This issue might not occur in all the web pages and only happens with web pages that run scripts.
This article applies to Internet Explorer 7 also.
