SUMMARY

When you use the VLOOKUP or HLOOKUP function in the Microsoft Works 2.0 for Windows Spreadsheet module, the function returns a zero (0) or False if there is text in the result column/row of the lookup table. Works does not have text functionality in the Spreadsheet module and can only work with numerical values in its formulas or the results of its formulas.

NOTE: Works 3.0 for Windows and Works 4.0, 4.5, and 4.5a for Windows 95 support text functionality in formulas.
