Article ID: 811646 - Last Review: October 25, 2007 - Revision: 3.1 Cannot Grant Delegate Writable Access to a Mailbox for an OWA Client
SYMPTOMSWhen you grant a user delegate access to your mailbox
folders, the user cannot use Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) to modify any
one of the items in the mailbox folders. CAUSEFull, writable delegate access control is not currently
supported in OWA. When you grant a user delegate access to your mailbox, the
user receives read-only access to your mailbox through OWA. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, permit full write access to the
mailbox through OWA. To do so, configure the user as an owner of that mailbox.
