SYMPTOMS

When you use the English version of PowerPoint with Hungarian language support and the Hungarian keyboard layout, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms:
  • You may not be able to save or close your presentation. Each time you try to save your presentation, a Pptvariable number.tmp file is created and is saved to your hard disk.
  • Toolbar icons may be missing from the program window.
  • You may not be able to quit PowerPoint.
  • Graphs and charts in your presentation may be damaged and may not display as you expect.
Note Hungarian language support is installed from Disk 6 of the Microsoft Office 2000 MultiLanguage Pack.
