Article ID: 813539 - Last Review: February 1, 2007 - Revision: 3.3 PPT2002: PowerPoint Add-Ins Are Unloaded When You Close a Presentation
On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you close a PowerPoint presentation, PowerPoint add-in
files (.ppa ) that are referenced by the presentation in a Microsoft Visual
Basic for Applications (VBA) project may unload. The add-ins are no longer
displayed in the list of available add-ins in the Add-Ins
dialog box. Because of this, you cannot reference the add-ins to use the add-in
functions. CAUSEThis problem occurs because a PowerPoint add-in that is
referenced by a presentation is unloaded when you close the presentation. The
add-in is unloaded even when PowerPoint is still running.
